MADARASSY, György Tamás (b. 1947, Baia Mare, România)
Artistic education: "Ion Andreescu" Institute of Fine Arts in Cluj (1968-1974), with professor MIKLÓSSY Gábor.
Between 1974 and 1988 he organized twelve solo exhibitions in Baia Mare. He has exhibited consistently in the country and abroad: Bucharest (1977), Satu Mare (1980), Cluj-Napoca (1981), Heringen, Germany (1995), Braunfels, Germany (2002). The artist has been awarded four national and international prizes: Miklós Káplár Prize, Hajdúböszórmény, Hungary (1976); Level Award, Nyiregyháza, Hungary (1990); “City of Arts” Award, Baia Mare (2005); County Award in the category "Fine Arts" (2011).
