P. KOVÁCS  Ferenc (1911, Baia Mare - 1983, Baia Mare)
Artistic education: Baia Mare School of Painting, under the coordination of master THORMA János (1925-1930); he participated in 6 creative colonies; Budapest Academy of Fine Arts (1930), with a scholarship from the Szinya Merse Pál Association.
Participates in numerous group exhibitions of Baia Mare settlers. In Budapest, he registered success in the group exhibition of Transylvanian artists, in the winter of 1938/1939.
Painter, engraver, and photographer, in his early works he is marked by the experiences of Baia Mare painting (landscapes, static natures, portraits), some of them receiving the influence of modern settlers.
