TOMPA, Mihai (1931, Turda, jud. Cluj - 1984, Oradea)
Artistic education: “Ion Andreescu” Institute of Fine Arts Cluj-Napoca (1958).
He opened numerous personal exhibitions in Bihor (1964, 1965, 1978, 1981) and participated in group exhibitions: Cluj-Napoca (1969-1971), Turda, Târgu Mureș, Arad, Deva, Bucharest (1972-1976).
He undertakes numerous documentary trips in the country and abroad (Hungary, Germany, U.R.S.S.).
In 1994, a retrospective exhibition is dedicated to him within the Museum of the Land of the Crisuri, Oradea under the curation of the art historian Maria ZINTZ.
