CRISTEA, Alexandru (1928, Prundul Bârgăului, Bistrița Năsăud County - 2015, Cluj-Napoca)
Artistic education: Ion Andreescu Institute of Fine Arts, Cluj-Napoca (1956).
Between 1971 and 2008 he organized fifteen personal exhibitions (Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Bistrita, Dej, Zalau, Bucharest, Alba Iulia) and participated in two group exhibitions and salons (2001, 2006). In 2015, the Art Museum of Cluj-Napoca dedicated the retrospective exhibition to him: "Alexandru Cristea about 88". In 1968, the artist was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit, Class I, Bucharest.
