Zamfir DUMITRESCU (1946, Bucharest - 2021, Bucharest)
Artistic education:
Nicolae Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts, Bucharest (1970), under the guidance of Professor Corneliu BABA.
Between 1968 and 2016, he opened thirty national (Bucharest, Galați) and international personal exhibitions (The Hague - Holland, Voss, Oslo - Norway, Stockholm - Sweden, Athens - Greece, Haifa - Israel).
In 1974, he was awarded the Youth Prize for painting, of the Union of Visual Artists from Romania. In 2004, he received the Order of Merit in the rank of Knight, offered by the Presidency of Romania.
