Ioan SBÂRCIU (b. Feldru, Bistrita Năsăud, 1948)
Artistic education: Ion Andreescu Institute of Fine Arts, Cluj - Napoca, Cluj (1973), with teachers: ABRUDAN Petre, CIATO Victor FEIER Petru, and ABODI Nagy Béla. He was also guided by the teachers: FULGER Radu and GOCAN Eugen Emil.
In the period 1975-2003, he carried out an intense exhibition activity, opening sixteen personal national exhibitions (Bistriîa - Năsăud, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Constanța) and twenty-six international exhibitions (Europe - Germany, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Italy and the U.S. - New york). He participated in numerous group exhibitions, as a teacher and rector, within the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca.
