Artistic education: School in Baia Mare, he studied with the master KÁROLY Ferenczy, between 1904-1905. He continued his studies enrolling at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, making documentary visits to Italy, Rome, and Florence.
He lives and works in Arad, after 1927, and in Baia Mare. He exhibited in Budapest (1911), Arad, Cluj, Satu Mare. After a short Impressionist period, he turned to a more accentuated decorative style, his painting receiving echoes of the Art Nouveau style and the art of Henri Matisse. A follower of artistic innovations in the field of modern French art, in Baia Mare he is a supporter of neo-modernists and innovative trends, under the coordination of ZIFFER Sándor. Extremely inventive and talented artist, he paints landscapes, still natures, and various compositions, in a moderately decorative personal manner.
