OLEJNIK Janka (Nagykanisza, Austro-Hungarian Empire, 1887 - Baia Mare, 1954)
Artistic education: Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest (1909 - 1913)
Baia Mare Art Colony (1927)
She settles in Baia Mare and regularly participates in the colonists' exhibitions even after the Second World War.
Between 1929 and 1932, she opened personal exhibitions in Satu Mare.
She paints several paintings on the shores of the Black Sea, in the colony of Balchik, around 1934.
Her works appear with rare frequency in the cultural circuit, some can be seen in the National Art Gallery, Budapest.
She mainly painted landscapes and portraits and was also involved in ex-libris art.
