Nicolae FURDUESCU (Craiova, 1908 - Bucharest, 1954)
Artistic education: Academy of Fine Arts, Bucharest (1928 - 1934), where he studied with the master Rudolf SCHWEITZER - CUMPĂNA, whose direct influence is evidenced by the work in the heritage of the ART Deposit (Depozitul de ARTĂ).
He opened three personal exhibitions: Pitesti, Argeș (1927), Bucharest National Art Museum, Retrospective Exhibition (1975), and Bucharest (1976). He also participated in eight Bucharest group exhibitions between 1935 and 1947.
In 1944, he obtained the Anastase and Elena Simu prize for painting, offered by the Anastase Simu Foundation, Bucharest.
