The theme addressed by Daday in this museum-quality work is taken from the history of the first Arpadian dismounted in Transylvania. The monumental composition includes a synthesis of legendary elements inspired by the atmosphere of the first Arpadian dismount, pretexts for a complex plastic display of portraits, costumes, natural and architectural landscape, historical narrative and effective rhetoric.
