CSIKOS KRISZÁNNE Antoniá (1887, Debrecen, Austro-Hungarian Empire – 1987, Baia-Mare, Romania)
Artistic education: Royal Academy of Fine Arts Budapest (1908, 1914) where he studied with RÉTI István. Under the same guidance, she attended free courses in Baia – Mare, between 1911 – 1915. Together with her husband, the painter János KRISZÁN, she traveled to study in Vienna and Paris in 1920.
She organized 3 personal exhibitions in Baia-Mare (1972, 1977, 1982) and participated in 12 group exhibitions within the Artistic Colony of Baia-Mare, between 1909 and 1922. The artist lived almost 100 years, being buried as "the last painter from Baimăra".
Stylistically, the artist has folded over the Baimăra route with fragments of impressionistic touch, finding a comfortable area in the theme of nature, of all seasons, with refined tones harmoniously modeled through the filter of gentle light.
