PAN Ioanid (1878, Bucharest – 1956, Bucharest)
Artistic education: National School of Fine Arts, Bucharest (1894-1897), with teachers George DEMETRESCU MIREA and Ion GEORGESCU. Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, Bavaria (1899-1901) with teachers: Nikolaos GYSIS and Karl von MAAR. Between 1914 and 1917, he organized exhibitions alongside the great masters of Romanian art, in Bucharest: D. G. MIHĂILESCU (1914), C. CREZOIU (1916), N. GRIGORESCU, I. ANDREESCU, C. JIQUIDI, Șt. LUCHIAN, Th. AMAN, etc. (1917). Three other personal exhibitions in Bucharest followed (1930, 1935, 1956). He had an intense group exhibition activity, with sixty such participations by the artist being attested until 1944.
