Ion SĂLISTEANU (1929, Pitesti – 2011, Bucharest)
Artistic education: Nicolae Grigorescu Fine Arts Institute, Bucharest (1949 – 1955), with professors Samuel MÜTZNER, Adam BĂLȚATU.
Between 1965 and 2006, he participated in forty-five national personal exhibitions (Bucharest, Iași, Oradea, Târgu Mureș, Constanta, Brașov, Reșița, Poloiesti, Băile Herculane, Pitesti, Bacău) and international (Rome - Italy, Krakow, Warsaw - Poland ).He also participated in ten national Salons and group exhibitions in the country (Bucharest, Arad, Târgu Mureș) and abroad (Venice Biennale, 1970)
He was attached to the Painting Colony at Dealul Mărului, Râmnicu Vîlcea, noting six attendances, between 2003 and 2006.
