Corneliu VASILESCU (1934, Bârlad, Vaslui - 2023, Bucharest)
Artistic education: Nicolae Grigorescu Fine Arts Institute, Bucharest (1968 – 1974), with professor Gheorghe ȘARU. Between 1966 and 2018, the artist opened twenty-five national (Iași, Bucharest, Bacău, Râmnicu Vâlcea) and international (Darmstadt, Wurzburg, Sommerhausen – Germany, Ciudads de Mexico – Mexico) personal exhibitions. He also participated in ten national Salons, opened in Bucharest, Romania and Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
