Traian BRĂDEAN (1927, Comlauș, Arad - 2013, Bucharest)
Artistic education: "Nicolae Grigorescu" Fine Arts Institute in Bucharest, with professor Alexandru CIUCURENCU; Fine Arts High School in Timișoara, with teacher Julius PODLIPNY.
Between 1957 and 1999 he organized thirteen personal exhibitions in Bucharest, Buzău, Oradea and Dej, also participating in two group exhibitions or official salons (2001, International Visual Arts Fair and 2006, Bucharest National Art Fair).
The artist was awarded for his artistic activity with three awards: the UAP Award for Painting (1973), the "Ion Andreescu" Award of the Romanian Academy (1978) and the Order of "Cultural Merit" in the rank of Commander, Bucharest, offered by the Presidency of Romania (2004) .
