HEIM András (1946, Cluj-Napoca - 2020, Cluj-Napoca)
Artistic education: "Ion Andreescu" Institute of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca, studies with the painter János MIKLÓSSY.
A graphic artist of great strength, he states his artistic credo in 1999 in the work "I build order": "an art is needed (as it has been many times in our century) that leads the person, the viewer towards the formation and preservation of an inner calm, which means discipline, self-discipline - through the aesthetic."
Between 1976 and 2009, the artist organized ten personal exhibitions of painting and graphics in Romania and Hungary. Member of UAPR Cluj, he benefited from the organization of a retrospective exhibition at the Cluj-Napoca Art Museum in 2009.
From 1990 to 2006 he was technical editor of the magazine "Korunk" in Cluj-Napoca, and since 1997 he has been a permanent curator in the Cluj gallery of the same name.
