RADU OPREA, Silvia Elena (b. 1935, Pâtroaia-Vale, Crângurile, Dâmbovița)
Artistic education: Nicolae Grigorescu Fine Arts Institute in Bucharest (1960), with professors Ion Lucian MURNU and Constantin Mușat BARASCHI.
Between 1965 and 2016, the artist opened 8 personal exhibitions in Bucharest (1965, 1989, 2011), Constanța (1986), Cluj-Napoca, Bistrița (2003) and Galaţi (2016).
He also participated in 10 group exhibitions and national and international salons (1976-2018), being awarded two prizes offered by the Union of Plastic Artists from Romania: the Sculpture Prize (1964) and the Monumental Sculpture Prize (1966).
