The artist organized three solo exhibitions in Bucharest (1882, 1920) and Iasi (1871). Between 1874 and 1909, he participated in nine group exhibitions and national salons. In 1942 his works were presented to the Ukrainian public in Odesa at the National Salon of Transnistria.
The artist was decorated and awarded in the country and abroad, we selectively mention the prize of the Academy of Arts and Industries, Munich, Bavaria (1840), the Exhibition of living artists, Bucharest (1881), the National Distinction (1908). Representative of the realistic current, C.D. STAHI made numerous portraits, heads of expression, genre scenes, and especially still lifes.
The work from Depozitul de ARTĂ, Festive Static Nature with champagne and other elements is distinguished by the artist's ability to harmonize the festive theme of the work, with expressive ways based on elegance and graphic subtlety, supported by a chromatic palette of refined tones.
